Pinehurst Golf & Country Club is a championship 27-hole layout (three nines of par 36; any 18 plays to par 72) designed by Yoshihara Aihara and opened in 1988. Each nine plays differently and greens run at a green speed of 9. It hosted the Johnnie Walker Classic International in 1992 and the Thailand Open in 1994. Roughly 15 minutes north of Don Muang Airport, it offers floodlit night golf and a clubhouse known for Japanese and Korean dining.
